Virgin starts switch off of analogue cable

Virgin have started switching off their analogue transmission across the country.

Although digital services have been available in most parts of the UK for some time, many homes have continued to watch the analogue service through Virgin cable but as they turn off this service many people will be left wondering what to do.

In Stevenage this will affect many homes but Virgin hopes these users will move over to their digital cable service.

The other alternative is to visit Stevenage Freeview Installers or Stevenage Freesat Installers.

That way many people will be able to watch most channels without the monthly cost of a Virgin package.

Digital Aerials in the Stevenage area

Digital Aerials in Stevenage are still in great demand.
Many householders are realising it is now time to get the old analogue aerial replaced with a new high gain digital aerial.
As it gets closer to the digital switchover (which is due to be completed nationwide by 2012) many people have realised just how busy it is going to get.

By next year there will be such a rush to have a new aerial fitted that the demand by tens of thousands of customers will far outweigh the amount of engineers available so waiting times will inevitablly grow longer.
Our advice to all TV viewers in the Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Hitchin, Letchworth, Hatfield and St Albans areas is get it done sooner than later to be on the safe side.
